Software Distribution - AJE Components

Distributing AJE Components requires that you also distribute the component license files. The license files must reside in the same directory as the components themselves.

By default AJE Components are always installed to <commonfiles>\AJE Shared\ folder.

AJE Components may be evaluated for up to 28 days prior to registering. After the trial period expires the product will no longer function. If you have purchased a license key then you can enter it to unlock the component at which point it will become a fully registered version and the License Manager will write a valid license file to the installation directory.

If no valid license file can be found, the component will continue to work during the evaluation period but you will be prompted for the license key each time it is used. If you intend to distribute this component with your applications then you will need a licensed version so the user never sees the license screen.

For a licensed version of Loan Engine .NET the files you need to distribute are: -

LoanEngineNET.dll - Loan Engine Component
LoanEngineNET.lic - Component License File

For a licensed version of Loan Engine Lite .NET component the files you need to distribute are: -

LoanEngineLiteNET.dll - Loan Engine Lite Component
LoanEngineLiteNET.lic - Component License File

And you will need the .NET runtime installed on your Windows installation for all VB.NET versions of Loan Engine.

For a licensed version of Loan Engine ActiveX DLL component the files you need to distribute are: -

LoanEngine32.dll - Loan Engine Component
LoanEngine.lic - Component License File

For a licensed version of the Loan Engine Lite ActiveX DLL component the files you need to distribute are: -

LoanEngineLite32.dll - Loan Engine Lite Component
LoanEngineLite.lic - Component License File

For a licensed version of the Loan Calculator component the files you need to distribute are: -

MSADOX.DLL - Microsoft ADO Ext. for DLL and Security

These files must be included with any installation that uses a licensed version of the component.

* NOTE: Excludes Loan Engine Lite. Data Persistence is not available in the Lite Version of Loan Engine!

For a licensed version of the Enhanced Controls Component the files you need to distribute are: -

COMCTL32.OCX - Microsoft Windows common controls
MSCOMCTL.OCX - Microsoft Windows common controls

These files must be included with any installation that uses a licensed version of the component.

For a licensed version of the User Manager component the files you need to distribute are: -

For a licensed version of the Utility Library Component the files you need to distribute are: -

UtilityLib32.dll - Utility Library Component
UtilityLib.lic - Component License File

To use the data compression functions in the Utility Library the Zlib data compression library DLL must be included in the windows\system folder. This file is included with all installations of the Utility Library and should be included in your installations as well.

zlib.dll - Zlib data compression library.

These files must be included with any installation that uses a licensed version of the component.
